I have mixed feelings about that beer. On first impression, I didn't like it. But the more I looked into it, the more decent it became. Shrug.

Eifel's peated single malt German whisky. Supposedly even most Germans can't get a hold of this stuff.

And to think that I got it for free because it wasn't selling -- I owe Lady Fortune some favors.

because this time of year gets me in the spirit.

The spirit immediately dies the day after Halloween,

Franzia Chillable Red after dinner of canned tuna and canned peaches. Waited until 5:30 to pour the first glass. Starting too early in the day leads to problems that night.

An Elysian the great pumpkin. An imperial pumpkin ale weighing in at 8.4% abv. Once again, I'd kill for a slice of pumpkin pie to go with this. I really can't wait till I get this pumpkin beer shit out of my system for the year.

I'm recovering from last night having a huge absinthe cocktail. With 100mg thujone this shit will limit you to one drink. It's 70% alc. but the high is more than booze and you feel it all over. There was a little bit of a headache this morning which is rare for me. Oh well...

Balcones Texas pot still bourbon.

I almost bought an Ardbeg An Oa but figured I should watch the spending, for a little while at least.

If you can find it try the Backwoods Bastard, DB aged in Bourbon barrels. Defuckinglicious.
