An expensive one...unless it was good scotch.

It's damn expensive to look this cheap.

Plum brandy. Slipovich or something...horrible. If that´s the only drink at the table, I´ll do it.

I would never refuse a free drink, but grappa might make me consider it.

Ricard: I'm allergic to it.

What!? šljivovica is le shit! Sure it's somewhat sweet, but hell; I'd drink it every day if I could get my hands on that stuff.

Best I ever had was in the Serb enclaves in Kosovo, Banja was the name of the village.

A Serb that doesn't drink just doesn't exist. You can't even have an official conversation with the village head if you haven't accepted a drink before.

I think it's the height of rudeness to refuse *any* drink, unless one is allergic or a teetotaler. That's why I've shot Jager or Goldschlager and just recently drank a can of Miller Hi-Life (I had to give that stuff up when I turned 30). Also, you show up at a party and didn't BYOB, you drink what's served and no complaining! Fortunately in my crowd the whole "I'm buying" thing doesn't happen too often, and if it does it's "Lemme get you another of those."
