Wait, lady Two Hearted brews ale?

The Two Hearted person looks right at you too. And she likes to fish. She probably caught that fish on the label. Eerie.

Had the Bell's Octoberfest over the weekend. Meh.

Nobody works as hard as Larry Bell in the brewing biz, but they're getting to be big time and ship all over the country, and some of the small batch processes that built the loyal following are disappearing. The pub in Kalamazoo still pours the oddball experiments, though., Mead, berry infused and pumkin ales.

My feeling is that if some megabrewer shows up with a hundred million bucks it'll be lights-out Sam Adams time.

that's a bummer, but an old story. success kills a lot of greatness. and of course reinforces the "drink from the source" thing a drunkard should do.

There is definitely a beer (and a good one at that). There is a River (great trout stream).
The person? I think she's just a figment.

As the Prophet Smatter spake, so Larry did sell out to InBev. I don't see them taking out Sam but half a prophecy is better than none.

That's a sweet photo. Yeah, many have been the good times with a minikeg of Two Hearted in the mix. Great beer. Let's hope InBev knows better than to go monkeying around with the recipe.

For whatever the six and twelve pack cans in stores around here are much fresher than six packs of bottles. Damn fine beer and brewery though.
