Evan Williams Kentucky Straight Bourbon. Livin' the high life in the middle of the week.
Slayed a many EW handle back in school times -- definitely one of the better "value handles".
Not bad at all. I don't drink it often but it's good to switch up your regular from time to time.
EW White Label, the Bottled in Bond stuff is my go to everyday drinker. Speaking of which.

Beam is my usual but I switch it up now and again. I've only ever had the black and -years ago- green label EW. I'll put the white label on my ever growing list of shit to try.

Figured I'd take my tax refund to a nearby liquor store I never knew existed and stimulate the economy. Lo and behold I saw Blantons on the shelf. And cheaper than the last time I saw it at my usual place. I was informed by the helpful lady behind the counter that although Blantons wasn't on order it magically appeared at the store. I decided this was meant to be in my cabinet. Also because of this I've decided to spare the Easter bunny's life at least one more year.

George Dickel no. 12. I'd only ever had the rye before. I'm enjoying this one. Definitely like their rye the most though.

Bulleit for $21. Daemon's weekend sale in Bangoah, ME.

Should've stocked up. But then there'd be just more empties and a bigger hill to climb in the early moaning.

Found myself at the liquor store yesterday and realized I had enough for a fifth of double oaked Beam and a couple of shooters of Beam black. Good stuff all around.

Yesterday a friend of mine cracked open a bottle of Tullamore Dew red label for me.
It had more of a bite compared to the green regular. But very smooth like all Tullys are.
Drink!

The cider cask finish? Sounds nice.
Recently received a bottle of black label Bushmills, my favorite Irish whiskey.

Picked up a bottle of High West double rye! Very nicely spiced rye. Perfect on a night with a little chill in the air.

Picked up a bottle of Asyla from Compass Box, a blended Scotch.

The cork top actually broke in half on me. Luckily, I was able to fish the remaining cork out with some scissors. Whew.

No top? Guess I gotta drink the whole bottle tonight ;)

Great score N!

I have yet to have a miss with any Compass box. Brilliant blends.

For me Last opened was Limestone Branch Yellowstone. A sourced blend from guys with a long family history of distillers. Beam family ties and a great or grandfather who was J.W. Dant's brother. So they have bourbon in their DNA. Only started in 2014 so finished bottles of their own should be on the market soon. They are a little opaque as to the juice being sourced on the website but they have it priced at 40 bucks which isn't as bad as some, looking at you Templeton.
