Château Montauriol. Some unpretentious wine with nice wood aromas.

Damn, once again I don't know what this means. We'll have plenty of time to discuss it next week.

Sailor Jerry's. The seal's been cracked for a while now but it was the only other night I actually opened it to have a glass (well...a couple).

I popped the cork on this handle of Buffalo Trace an hour ago. First acquaintance with it. Great bourbon!

Agree!! No mixers, just a little sparkling water and lime. When we were down in Nicaragua this summer we drank gallons and oh so cheap.

Due to Ivan's Bourbon thread, I bought some Evan Williams and some Ezra Brooks to do some side by sides this eve.

Opened up a fifth of Bowmore Legend a few nights ago. The flavors aren't too well balanced because of the age, but for a $25 Islay it's not bad at all.

This is one of those whiskies that truly benefits from a splash of spring-water or a single ice-cube.

Thanks for the tip Peetie, perhaps I'll add an ice cube to my next glass and see what that brings out.
