At that time of the night.

The honeymoon with night is over: the last cigar was consumed along with the last glass and there is work to be done tomorrow.
I am not falling, the week-end is at hand.
What is that thing doing in the "the pub" thread, some will say.
Well, we all experienced that feeling in a nameless pub in a nameless part of the city on a nameless Sunday evening.

PS: Yes, I know this is only Thursday evening.
"I never want to go to bed if there are still beers in the fridge, but then I am always hopeful that there are beers left in there when I wake up.". Thirstydrunk.

"We all look for happiness, but without knowing where to find it: like drunkards who look for their house, knowing dimly that they have one." Voltaire

"The prince of darkness is a gentleman." Shakespeare.
