What are you reading?

Post by Savage »

I am currently enjoying "Eat What You Want and Die Like a Man"
I love this book, though I am not a man. I agree with most of what he says, except the parts where he sounds like a stupid man. Yes, women lie, and men lie, but only because we want to get laid. And margarine and diet food are terrible. Butter and lard and bacon fat are your friends. And his baked potato recipe made me realize that Mother was wrong. Don't poke your potato.

The life of Louis the sixteenth. He gave Bourbon the name of his family.

Never read while on the potty. It'll tie you up. Well, comic book, maybe. But no heavy stuff.

The Snowball: Warren Buffett and the Business of Life. A really interesting book - prompts all sorts of debates about politics, philosophy, economics, social morales, how the world works etc...

"Three Cups of Tea", though I usually do my reading with bourbon.

never say never. I've learned many a thing from my Uncle John's Bathroom Reader. like burnt toast can alter your DNA. and they've built a treadmill for an elephant in the Alaskan zoo (which I, personally, find revolting. obviously, the elephant does not belong there!)
I'm not so think as you drunk I am.

Hell is no bourbon - Ms. Savage

Because that's how you win. Gunpowder and rum.,

What If? :currently reading the article on the ramifications of Martin Luther not being granted safe passage by the Diet of Worms (besides a lot of streets having different names.)

One of my all-time faves. The movie took all the good bits, threw them away, and managed to fuck up what was left.

Me, I'm still on a Terry Pratchett bender.

Yes, yes and yes.
Someone should sue the people who did that movie and Pratchett is the funniest man of our era.
