Is it time for a change of name?

Post by Mr Boozificator » Fri Jun 03, 2011 10:39 am

No provocation there, but considering how most people under thirty don't relate too much to what is being said in those pages, ain't we more like Old Fashioned Drunkards, or Old Style Drunkards?
I sometimes wonder.
"I never want to go to bed if there are still beers in the fridge, but then I am always hopeful that there are beers left in there when I wake up.". Thirstydrunk.

"We all look for happiness, but without knowing where to find it: like drunkards who look for their house, knowing dimly that they have one." Voltaire

"The prince of darkness is a gentleman." Shakespeare.

makes sense seeing how everything on here and in the mag is very old skool, but we are that ol skool flaver in the modern world. we are the modern version. And i am under 30 and can relate, but then again i have an old soul.

It's cyclical. You can buy "modern fit" suits that are cut closer to how they were in the '60s.

Plus, it's really about how an old school drunk can survive in the modern, lame-ass world. Which is, of course, with a little help from our friends.

• "If you wanna 'talk about' my drinking, it better be about how fucking awesome it is." - Me

Coming from a 24 year old point of view: Old people (anyone over 40) drive too slow. That is all.
