"Peetie" is in honor of the Depression Era blues singer, pianist and guitarist, Peetie Wheatstraw (William Bunch), a personal favorite. The number "44" is in honor of 1960s/early 1970s-era, NBA superstar, Jerry West (Lakers), who wore that uniform number and was a childhood sports idol of mine.

I was given the nickname "The Magnificent El Cajon" by the guitarist in a band I was in some time ago. I wanted to use that name when I got my first Yahoo account but it was taken. I added the "64" because of my 1964 Thunderbird. This was a common naming convention for personalized plates in the mid 90's. I have used this name for every forum, board, etc. since.
