Itty Bitty Drunkard Party

Post by Mother Goose »

The venerable ThirstyDrunk is coming to our fair city tomorrow to join us at the Clutch/Prong show at our local venue. I'll be the chick in the back, drinking and watching all the festivities. Pictures will follow. :)

So at this point it's just a matter of staying undrunk enough to drive to Indy.

Re: Itty Bitty Drunkard Party UPDATE: GOOSE IS EJECTED

Post by Mother Goose »

Well, the night has been entertaining. Doors opened at 8 pm, we arrived (after pre-concert cocktails) at about 8:30. Opening band was done, Prong came on about 8:45. Goose's dumb 43-year-old busted-up-knee ass decided it was a good idea to go down to the pit about 9:00. Thirsty and I, watching from the balcony, enjoyed Goose's mosh pit antics for about 20 minutes. Then, Goose ended up in a bit of a scuffle with another pit-mate (who was, admittedly, kind of a dick) and security escorted him out. BEFORE Clutch even took the stage. Oh well, we're back at the homestead with Sailor, Makers, vodka, PBR, and other assorted comestibles. Thirsty's visit to Indy is still a blazing success. Pictures to follow, possibly - if I remember to take them later.

I had a great time, got to see PRONG (again), got to see the party area of Indianapolis (BroadNipples or something like that), and ended up drinking in the back yard with the dogs until I passed out.
Greygoose is a fucking MANIAC and I honestly don't understand how he functions in everyday society.

YOU KNOW WHAT I READ, YOUKNOW WHATIREAD? IREAD: "fuck you Etienne, I was having too much fun so I didn't care to pm you for your national day. Ps: I'm currently pissing in your favorite wine, your unfaithful, T". YEAH, YEAH, THAT's WHAT I READ!
And somehow I can't help but be proud of you.

"Beg to Differ" was one of the CDs that's the soundtrack to my freshman year of high school.

Then, I discovered the Pixies, Concrete Blonde, Dead Kennedys and Ministry in the same week... and everything changed.

That's the point. He can't.

I swear, that is the last time I go in the pit. Three days later and I'm still sore as hell and my black eye is just starting to subside. Sorry we all got to miss Clutch. Thirsty, I'll send you your flask back and the new Clutch CD in the next couple weeks.

EDIT: The dude that got me kicked out was a total and complete dick. For those of you that have been in a pit before, it's common courtesy that when someone takes a dive you help them back up. This guy was mosh-blocking everyone, knocking people down/tripping people on purpose. I hope that fucker, the entire cast of iCarly, Donald Trump and Dora the Explorer all die in the same fire.

"Got" to miss Clutch? 'roidian slip, if i've ever swelled one. Thirrsty, i think you were Clutchblocked by an elaborate mosh-ruse. I think someone may have taken a pit-dive.

Fixx was in.
