Re: Was This a Smooth Move?
Did you stick your telephone number to the bottle? You didn't?? Amateur. I you want to get laid, do it the right way.
Re: Was This a Smooth Move?
If there was any one behind you in line, it was the wrong time. timing is everything, and you cant expect that she will stop what she is doing to make a connection with you. I would have moved to the back of the line, so that you could have a little conversation with her, or what bboozer said, put your number on the bottle.

I will try again after New Years. Or, maybe not. Either way it was fun to surprise someone with a bottle of booze.
Pipe down, Otis!!!!

You should have smote her and wore her skin in a victory dance.
Edit:
The customer-worker social dynamic is such that when the customer is male and the worker is female, the flirtation is mostly a formality, and/or part of the sales pitch. It will almost never pan out except in pornographic films.

Be very careful. People are strange when you are a stranger.

Re: Was This a Smooth Move?
I agree. Great gesture, but next time I would find a slower time of day to give the gift of booze. Cheers, Otis!Miklo wrote:If there was any one behind you in line, it was the wrong time. timing is everything, and you cant expect that she will stop what she is doing to make a connection with you. Preferably Ten High, if you want to be suave and stylish about it.EuroSlave wrote:The proper way was to drink the booze, knock her out with the empty bottle
That being said, you are a true gentleman and drunkard for gifting a lady with booze. Her response is on her, not you.
I just wish there were some actual drunkards around here who can handle themselves like adults while still acting like retards - liquor&poker
