This reminds me of the almond liqueur fad a few decades ago. Went great with coffee and the Rockford Files. Did anyone distill pistachio liqueur?

Good question. I luv pistachios and I am kinda kicking myself that I never thought about looking for this.

You do despite what that article states. Mescal will kick your ass much differently than vodka. Try Euro style Absinthe and make your comparison. There's other ingredients other than alcohol.

Very interesting. They could find out that nothing happened and there was no fermentation. My bet is they can't brew booze in a 0 gravity environment. I mean really, how do you expect those yeasts and malted barley to find their way around, you know? That would be a disaster because everyone would like a space aged drink from beyond.
