Everyone's building new distilleries like mad (bourbon and Scotch), and some undetermined number of years from now, there will be a glut and oversupply. It's happened before. Some of the best vintage whiskeys out there were barrels that sat around during a glut in closed-down distilleries and aged longer than intended, and then they were bottled and sold at fire-sale prices.
Very much so, and that's my favourite thing about capitalism. No need to worry about whether the right decision has been made because there are so many options one may never be truly right, and never need to be either

I do believe that I cited Dr Bronowski on this not so long ago...

I'm afraid this piece is totally misinformed and wrong. The articles floating around sourced from the AP (Associated Press) don't know what they're talking about.

The video on that article is about JD's lawsuit against Popcorn Sutton's copycat bottle design. Nothing to do with Dickel.

Dickel itself qualifies for the new TN whiskey rules. It always has.

A battle is NOT raging amongst the two companies about "the right to label their drink", not their current products anyway.

Diageo doesn't want to allow Brown-Forman to dictate what Tennessee whiskey can be, hence their feud (which is not new news) about the new law . They want to be free to release a new "Tennessee Whiskey" that doesn't conform to JD standards, if they feel like it. Lawsuits were about something else.

Yes, sign the FoodBabe petition to find out what's in your beer. Corona uses ethylene glycol (anti-freeze).

Breaking newsflash:
Alcohol makes you feel great.

Unless you are in a flat mood then it makes you feel tired.

Alcohol makes you want to party.

I want to party but I don't have any alochol still until Monday.
I even heard someone blasting music from 3 streets away in the afternoon that made me want to party more.

End breaking newsflash.

How did you end up in such a predicament?

You know, it would be cool to invent a 3-D printer that mixed drinks. I'd email you some booze.

But the DRINK! cartridges would be fucking expensive...

I'll try to find and taste the bourbon. I'll skip the pecan stuff.
