Technically not new but to quote GlaDOS, "It's been a long time."

See, I was about halfway through a bottle of Lone Star vodka after the last two weeks of H-town on earth, which culminated in finding out that my step dad has cancer. Ironically he's a teetotaler, but one of the few I actually respect. But I digress.

I was attempting to find online solace in the circle-jerk that is Reddit. My god, I'm so bored with Reddit. I looked down at my glass and thought, dear God don't make me have to go to 4chan to amuse myself. And then I remembered, "....the drunkards...the drunkards?....DEAR SWEET SONNY JESUS IN HEAVEN THE DRUNKARDS!"

And bless you all, you're all still here! It's all so beautiful! The camaraderie, the glib repartee, the little bottles under everyone's username! It's all just as good as I remember! I'm sorry I ever left.

Rather than commit seppuku in my shame, I instead contacted our Drunkard In Chief. Some tinkering under the hood and he was able to get the old account fired up and, bless his drunken name, it's all still here! Just as if I'd never left.

I've missed you all! How is everyone? Are we still all mad at JD? Are we still suckin' down brutal hammers? Are we still brigading usurpers and copyright infringers? Are we still fighting the good fight against neo-prohibitionists?

And I see we have some fallen comrades. Mayhem? Liz? PALINKA! Say it ain't so.

For those of you wondering, "who is this clown and why is he blubbering like Sally Field at the 1984 Academy Awards?" I was moderately active here between 2004 and 2005 and I think I last posted here in 2011. I went to MDMCon in I think 2005 (the year Marky Ramone headlined with his tribute band). I was the chubby guy with dreads and the tackiest Hawaiian shirt you ever saw.
