Oh yes... or at least I used to! It was a place between kentville and wolfville novascotia. I was looking for love in bars. No such luck. So I tried grocery stores, theaters, libraries, etc. etc. To heck with it! A bowling alley! Turns out this bowling alley has the cheapest beer in town! So after a frame I slinked to the bar. A nice young lass sat next to me. I ordered a pint. She ordered a pitcher. She drank the pitcher before I finished my pint!
A DRINKING LASS! Aye.
Then her mum came up. This is fine. I'm ok with both! Time to go to their home. I'll call a cab!
The cab arrives and he says "I can take you!" He jabs his finger towards me. "But them" he points. "They bailed on a 200$ cab ride." I apologized and gave him 10$ for his troubles. The mum apologized and we called CJs instead of MJs cab.
We get in the cab. I was going to take them out to dinner but the daughter passed out in the back seat. We get to the house. I help the daughter on to the couch. The mother leaves the house. I go to the washroom and wash my face. Would would my buddy ******* do? Drink tea.
I start searching through the cupboards for tea. The cupboards are bare. No tea? Unconscious women? I leave. She can keep my sweater.

Great story, Hack. All’s well that ends well, or something like that. I keep a metal (silver?) spoon in my pocket. It’s hard to eat grits and those little peas with a plastic fork. Hugh’s Diner has proper utensils, but the Chelsea Drug Store only has plastic forks.

I saw this guy at Chelsea’s, figured him as a homeless lugging his sleeping bag on his back. Big tall muscular looking fellow. He’s in front of me at the check out aisle. Besides his sleeping bag he’s got two other bags he’s lugging around. I figured his purchases were in the bags. No, his only purchase was one of those miniature airline bottles of peach vodka. One dollar. How’s he going to make it on one little tiny peach vodka airline bottle? I thought.
