MDM Con. 2014, a proposal based on recent events...

I think that we should push for a Convention in 2014. It may be our last and we should use a part of this proposed Con. to have a massive fucking wake for all those that have left us for Valhalla. And evening of toasts for Mayhem, DJF, Schmernie and all the others that have touched our lives and made them better by their participation.
We have talked about this on and off for the past year. Now is the time to make it happen.
Let us all push for, "The Rememberance Con." in '14, and dedicate it to Tony, Tim and all those who have left us.
I beg of you all to promise some time toward making this a reality.

I won't be able to make it, however, I'm up to attend to (or maybe organising) a parallel convention in Europe, in case a few other members from this continent joins.

What is needed to make this happen, is for people to pledge some time to call around to find a venue (unless Bluespook is willing to host a bunch of drunks for a long weekend?), to try and secure some cheap accommodation (based on a group booking) and ensure that we can booze, barbecue and behave like barbarians.

Please, pledge how many hours you can put in to making calls/organising stuff, here. Once we have numbers, we can assign tasks (state your preferred task, by all means).

Also, proposals for dates would be welcome.

Let's make this happen!

Are we thinking Vegas? I know that was brought up previously. I'm planning on going there in February and could scout locations. Either way I can inquire on reservations wherever we want to go.
