Amazingly, there are elements of the beer, wine and liquor industry that feel threatened by this development. No pill will ever replicate the experience of consuming alcohol in all of its' well-rounded entirety.

the hangover is part of the drunk. I only ever get bad hangovers if I stay up too late. if I go to bed at a normal time I'll usually be fine

An anti-asshole pill might be a more pertinent contribution to pharmacology.

Best cure for a hangover? Hair of the dog... works every time.

Axl did a pretty good cover: Hair of the Dog - Guns 'n' Roses (unavailable outside USA).

Reason: Editted to put the link into BB coding (and to clarify that the link won't work outside the USA)

Kind of a sacrilege imho, drinking without a hangover just blankets the other dangers that alcohol presents and could lure unsuspecting hard-drinkers into a false sense of security. Just like with tattoo's if you can't stand the pain for something so beautiful then don't do it. I drink and I know the results of what to expect the next day which is just one of those things for me.

C'mon, people! You should know the 86 Rules of Boozing better than a Ferengi Grand Nagus knows The Rules of Acquisition, godsdamnit.

Oh it exists, it`s called LSD. They should pour some in the mains water for just one day, good stuff will happen!
Five gallons of beer? Interesting. And what was served for main course?

Wasn't that the Joker's plot in the first "Batman" comic?

Hence the name I guess, you have to live up to it. Some bags of road salt would have been funny too though
