I did my best to kept it open but I was only few there I drank there every night.
Now I think one of the bar keeps was stealing from the vets .
So I got to change my membership to a other town it sucks. the last vets was only 50 ft away
My VFW closed last month

I did some of my very first drinking as a guest of old head friends who had VFW memberships.
I included the Willow Grove, PA VFW in a song lyric for the awesome band I used to be in in my 20s (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4dl58q-jgTA - I have no idea who put this on YouTube).
My first gig as a singer in a melodic metal band was at a VFW.
But most importantly, I've drank lots of beers at VFWs. Viva la V.
