This is a total East coast thing near Boston? That's what I read earlier. It's a memorial to a dear friend. Wish I could attend. I got nothing but time to volunteer. Hope to see you all in Las Vegas someday.
Found myself in the Matrix and took the red pill. Now I want the blue pill and my bottle and leave me alone.

It most certainly is not a "total East coast thing", I shall be there, from the UK (dragging as many Euro Drunkards as possible with me), and The Denver Drunkard Crew will be there. Hell's teeth, even dear lady S. has said that she will try to overcome her fear of flying to try and be there. So, if you can be there, please do come along.

Kindly listen to this, please.

I'll be at a bachelor party the week of the Con so i won't be able to attend or volunteer. I have, though, arranged with the very generous host to have a parcel of goodies delivered to aid in the festivities.
cheers,

Going to happy hour and not drinking is like going to an orgy and masturbating. You just took a great idea and turned it into a circle jerk. -Sixpack595

Not exactly fear of flying... more a fear of motion faster than human perambulation. If I could walk there, well, good. To enter any motorized vehicle, not so good. Lately, to travel in an automobile, I require music, closed eyes, or an absorbing book, and, sometimes, drugs or drink. I asked the docs at NHCP if I could have a small scrip for when it is abso necc. to travel, but was told I would have to enter the psycho-clinic thing, therapy (which would require me to drive myself about 120 miles round trip on California freeways.)
I wish I could volunteer myself as of something useful, but I'm just:
ex history student
lumberjack
ex military I guess
youth worker
kinder garden worker
bouncer
and half decent with lighting guy.
I really need to rob someone with a suit. Hopefully it isn't going to be someone who was just going to a funeral.
