I'm still willing to pass my personal shot glass and a bottle around one bidder at a time to raise more funds.

News on a new item for Auction coming soon.

I light of the development with Palinka I thought we may also discuss division of the money. I had earmarked the money For Mayhem's favorite animal rescue but there was mention with P's passing of medical equipment for the hospital he was treated in. My vote is 50 50 for each but it's up to you all.

Also of note the fund sits at $553.65 USD.

That seems to be the most fair. Leave it up to a mechanical engineer to keep track of everything.

I'll definitely participate again in the new auction.

Someone should find out if P.`s family is in dept or something with the medical bill. I would split it 60-40 in their favour then

I would say 50-50 is fair.

Oettinger, I may be wrong, but I think P. Was treated by the NHS, so there should be no bill

But 50/50 is fine be me. Just don`t start the next auction until I got more money in my pocket again. Or let it run into next month, kay Patchez

we weren't asked for money.
it was mentioned on P's memorial page on FB that any donations instead of flowers would be made to the hospital that treated him for a heart monitor or any other equipment they had need of.

According to the FRK's rules of meeting conduct, Chapter 42, Section 8, subpart 86, paragraph 10DD: to wit, "...unless there is any vote of dissension forthwith after the Modern Drunkard Proper Allotment of Time To Discord and Drink (MDPATTDD) then there shall eventually arrive a certain time point of agreement for said-and-before-hand-mentioned expenditure of heartily and well-intentioned expenditure of personal wealth shall be counted and expedited from the Gate Keeper (in this case, The Hirsute One) unto the agreed upon by all beneficiaries. However, if there be another attempt to raise funds, such time period will, of course, and by all means necessary, be extended to the full length of the Pub's desire to contribute until this above paragraph can be fully read and discerned."

Hey, don't look at me. I didn't write this.

Ok. This is gonna get interesting and I think a whole lot of fun. Bluto came to us with the idea of sending a well used, by himself and a lot of his friends, shot glass and some hooch on a world wide trip with the last bidder on the bottle and glass getting to keep it. After a little back and forth with some of the Mods, Bluto and myself, we distilled that grand idea and have come up with what could be an epic interweb event.

What you are bidding on is a chance to participate in this event. This event could go on for quite some time and it would be truly stellar if it did.

What's gonna happen is the winner of this first leg of the auction gets this shot glass.

Image

Along with a pint of booze. This one in fact.

Image

The last thing you will get is this journal. The World Booze Journal.

Once you receive these items you will, at your earliest convenience, drink the pint. After drinking the pint scribble your drunken thoughts in the journal. A paragraph or a page or two. No need for novels. Your final step will be to buy another pint. No need to go crazy on price. Many a great, departed Drunkard has espoused the joys of bottom shelf drinking. No shame. I'd even consider it an honor to win me some Ten High during one of these go rounds. Then post a pic and start it on the next leg of it's journey. Current winners will be responsible for shipping to the newest winner.

So here goes. Bidding starts today, Friday the 19th and will run for 14 days as in the previous auctions.

^^^

Sir, would you give an approximate monetary value on these items so that we have a base?

Certainly, the shot glass has much more value than simple intrinsic, but that's the bidding's fun.

Also, damn fine remembrance on those discussions with P.
