I have a friend who works for the NSA. Got one of you sitting on your toilet. Would you like me to post that one too? Maybe not.

I always place a thumb over the selfie cam on the front side of the cellphone when reading atop the perch. Don't ever wipe with the wrong hand.

Trust me on this

High Gravity is decent and will do the job. I prefer King Cobra though

Isn't that fancy new budweisser a high gravity? Budweisser Tritium, or something..

I'm sad to say they don't sell a lot of 40s in my neighborhood. Last 40 I had was years ago and it was Old English. Gave me the shits something fierce the next day.

Does that mean that you are declaring tomorrow, "40oz Friday"?

It's been a while since we last had one of those.

Doesn't taste real good, but if you are on a budget, this is your salvation.

Hi, Dale! Good to see you back. I hope this bout of posting means that our premiere Deutscher Premier is returning to regular posting.
To answer your question, on Sarge's behalf, the product he is talking about, "Hurricane High Gravity", is what our US co-drunkardists call, "Malt Liquor" (for further information, read the article in Modern Drunkard Magazine, "40 Ounces of Fury!"). Which is to say, it is a high-gravity (i.e. has a strong %ABV) beer. Therefore, what the Sarge was trying to say, is that whilst it might not be the best tasting beer available, at US$1.99 for 40oz*, at 9%ABV, it certainly gives you a bang for your buck (which is to say, it is good value).
I hope that this answers your question.

*There are 28.4130742mls to 1oz, making 40oz equal to 1.1365 litres.

Yes, I'm back. Very good to read you Palinka. I read your posts before I even had an account.

It appears, good Dr. P, that you brought the lurker out of hiding.

Certainly, it is proper manners to lurk a bit to understand the culture of an on-line community. Things could go a bit wrong otherwise

Hell, this here Drunkard n00b called coqui_chris a troll in my own early posts, just last year. Yet, instead of me getting booted or shot, he was a gentleman about it.

I guess that says something about this community.

It says, Drink, too

Hurricane will keep the party going when funds are low. Brought to you by the Federal Reserve Bank. Just ask them how they do it.
