Hurricane, Sazerac Cocktail, Vieux Carre.

Grog was a creation of the British Navy, not New Orleans.
You are so fucking correct! Pick up your little chrome top hat and move it to the front of the line.

Don't mind if I do, Stinkareeno.

This next question will be like chewing on a hockey puck, so cheat and use the interweb if you must.

*According to famed Islandic historian Snorri Sturluson, the Swedish king Fjolnir died in the 1st century AD due to what sort of booze?

Mead.
You must have graduated from the Snorri Sturluson Institute of Mead with a PhD in the Knees of Bees, because that is CORRECT!!!

Yes, King Fjolnir got so drunk during a visit to the neighboring Dane kingdoms that he stumbled through a loft door, fell into a massive vat of mead and quite literally drown himself in booze. What a way to go, bit I wonder if they still drank the mead?

Bring on the booze trivia pain, Patchez you bastard.

How long does it take brain cells to react to alcohol?

All of them.

Nope, wait. That's wrong. Got this one: between 0.43 seconds and the "rest of your life". And no, don't have any brain cells to spare. They're semipermeable, at best. So don't ask.

Ok so this thread doesn't stay stagnant any longer, price is Right rules are in play. % minutes is the closest without going over. The actuall time from belly to brain is six minutes.

Now you know how to time your shot cycle.

Thanks, I plan on being around more often now that we are settled into our new home and the mancave is complete with full liquor bar, beer fridge, pool table, dart board, foosball table, flat screen and wi-fi. I don't leave when I can help it.

Next time I get out that way we will swing by your place. Also Stoeber's. Kinda fell in love with that place.

Okay, here's a question for the liquorazzi.
It's worth 2 ice cubes and a cocktail napkin with your mom's phone number on it...

*Created in 1934, what alcohol was also sometimes referred to as Göring-Schnaps?

No internet cheating, por favor.
