I have mixed feelings about Sunday. On the one hand, it gets me closer to my day off. On the other, it means I have to wake up at 8am tomorrow. Doesn't stop me from getting black out drunk, though.

Yes indeed. Sunday, for the likes of this here old sot, is the restaurant at the end of the universe.

Monday is the next iteration, unfolding from a tiny big bang, to begin again: regrow. Poignant, yet a good reason to get blasted.

I hate to think about it. I try to make the best out of it by starting early and getting punch drunk by nighttime

Yesterday I broke my keyboard by drowning it in drink, ooops. Tiping from my old semi-fucked up one now. Was a good idea to save it.

There should be a DRINK named after the contents of each of your spilled keyboards. Crumbs, ashes, vodka, lemon rinds, perhaps a tomato pip from the bloody days of yore?
Fermented, dessicated, rehydrated, again and again, like filtering and refining a vodka, but in reverse.

Even as a child I didn't like Sundays. It meant school the next day after a fun weekend. Waking up early and being forced to go to church. Having to do all the homework I didn't do all weekend. Most likely had family shit to do or having to go the lumber yard with my dad. Then I got all growed up and it got even worse. Dreading the long work week ahead on Sunday evenings. Anticipation of feeling like crap Monday morning. The coming down off of the high of a drunken weekend.
But I do make the best of my Sundays as it still is a day off, treasuring those last hours left of the weekend. Drink all day and laze around and later on enjoy a nice BBQ or "Sunday dinner". Something to look forward to at the end of a drunken weekend.

The positive as an adult is at least now I don't have to do homework or go to church and can drink instead! Cheers!

Yesterday I was invited to what turned out to be the crappiest party ever. Aside from the booze every little thing about it sucked. People, music, ambience, it was flat out horrible.

Cheers Sunday drunks! This has been the perfect weekend thus far. It's consisted of nothing but eating, drinking, and being merry. The weather is tropical. Enjoyed a fresh morning rain. Potted some plants. Played with the Pomeranian (with papers) in the garden. Played darts and drank beer in addition to the usual ginger ale and vodka cocktails. BBQ'd some pork belly and some beef and pork kebabs we marinated and threw it together with every vegetable we could find. (No potato side dish though as our sack o' taters were stolen by people with alleged dementia). Today we are grilling up some souvlakia and steak and laze around enjoying the weather with more cocktails. It's so awesome to have a day-or weekend for that matter- where everything is perfect and nary a single complaint! And sharing it all with the drunkard of your dreams! Sláinte fellow drunkards!
