I have moved from the Great White North of Minnesota down to the humid tropics of Houston, Texas. And boy am I glad I did. Here it is the end of January and it's in the 60s, the sky is clear, and the sun is shining. And you know what? I don't mind the heat at all either. This is probably one of the best things I've done lately.
And it gets better... There is a brewery opening up about 5 miles from my house. 11 Below is the name of the brewery. This is going to be awesome.

Congrats G_W that's quite a move and hope it works out for you. We have a micro-brew 10 mins down the road with a tap-house open 7 days a week. If yours is as good then awesome it will be! Let us know how the beer is. Cheers!

All these east coast wussies. I have to deal with 80F/27C during winter. It's horrible.

Folks, I grew up in the southeast. I survived this last summer with no AC in my car. I will survive many more!
