So there's this persistent cold front coming down into the local paradise know as SoCal and getting down to around 40F at night on the coast. This is the coldest Winter I can remember. It makes me stock up on booze during the day so I don't have to go out at night. But let's hear from you folks on the East coast and Midwest. You folks are getting blasted by arctic air and tons of snow. Even NoCal and the Pacific Northwest are getting buried in ice. Can you get your booze? Are you being cut off? How are you making out through all this? We all want to know.

You folks, where you are living was the most badly hit by the 5-6yr drought that we just went thru starting last year. It was really scary to hear all the stories about farmers leaving because they couldn't get any water. They were drilling wells down into the aquifer system to pump up water. This caused the land to sink in some places. Those underground rivers are now being recharged. I'll bet you were worried about flooding.
