A few days ago I woke up to the most menacingly close thunder I've ever heard.

Now it's just really windy. Be strong, windows.
Don't worry. We're in no hurry.

Like that Tom Cruise movie Pants of Thunder.

Here it`s just plain too cold and rainy

Coastal low clouds and lower temps leading to increasing brain fog and mental distortions. Heavy overcast skies with late afternoon onshore breezes will wake you the fuck up. Pop another top and chill.
Found myself in the Matrix and took the red pill. Now I want the blue pill and my bottle and leave me alone.

Upwards of 100F the past few days with humidity creeping toward the sort of tropical climate that molders taints and makes tits sweat straight off. Rather than complain about it, I’d rather find a nice spot of shade or air conditioning and have a cool, refreshing drink. Here’s a few that come to mind.

Top 5 hot weather drinks

5. Malaga cooler
4. Bourbon with lemonade and/or iced tea
3. Gin & tonic
2. Vodka grapefruit (aka the greyhound)
1. Cheap, ice cold beer

What are your thoughts on a Mojito?

Widely varied yet overall positive. What’s not to like about lime and muddled mint? And freshly pressed cane syrup?

I was hoping you (and others) would include their own top 5 balms of the balmy climates.

Vojito (mojito with vodka)
Lava Flows
Long Beach Ice Tea (cranberry juice instead of coke)
Frozen lime, coconut, lemon, or pineapple daiquiris - rum or vodka
Frozen margaritas - pink grapefruit (Paloma), lime, pineapple, or lime and sangria

Oh yeah and Corona with lime or lemon. But beer doesn't count. It's like flavored water with a buzz.

Have to go with G&T. I use genuine quinine water and a spice blend (juniper, lemon rind, hybiscus, rose hips, etc.) in a strainer. Very refreshing.

Hot as balls here too. And stupid humid. But, at least there is air conditioning to which one might retreat and an ice machine to keep the vodka company.

Fixed that for ya.
It's actually been beautiful here all week. Not too hot or humid, sunny, a little breezy. Against all common sense I've gone to work everyday instead of staying home and getting day drunk, listening to music and grilling things. Because I'm dumb as a fucking rock.

My teachers always told me to cut the sentence as short as possible.

Woke up at 6:30am local time to a glorious sunrise, clear skies and a beautifully cool 67 F. Mixed a little whiskey and cream into my coffee, then sat out on the deck with the dog and exhaled smoke into morning breeze. I love those simple moments of good life to be had. Ambition be damned and awash in contentment.

I'm at 14 degrees north (and 160East), so it's hot and humid
