Dude! Thank the old fart. At least their arm flab provides shade. Huddle 'neath the flesh.

You know yer gettin' old when you are still atop the dirt and can take a sip. I think I want my casket to be filled with booze.

Wait.

I'm going to be cremated.

Heh, that would be interesting

When the funeral homes send you solicitations three times a week, and you start thinking, aw, shit. Why should my little angels have to worry about how to dispose of my carcass? I'm thinking, compost heap. Go Green!

Scary thing is, I live where there are couples that are highlighted in the paper for having been married for seventy-five or eighty years , and it's no big thing. Seriously? Geez, I remember when it was a big deal if you made it to ninety or one hundred years of age, single, because your spouse had long since died. And even then, you were insensible and drooling on your napkin and piddling in your diaper. Now, you're more likely to be hitting the casino and dancing with a younger (say, fifty years old) man, and winning big at the slots--since you divorced that Don Draper when you were both fortyish.

When there are more pickles in your patato salad than actual potatos because an old person should atleast taste something.

Okay, now you are channeling Grumpy (aged 63) He prefers a ratio of three pickles per one potato in his salad. (shudder)

I prefer the pickle in my Dickel.
I just wish there were some actual drunkards around here who can handle themselves like adults while still acting like retards - liquor&poker

When your son who was once a prodigy 10 year old bartender can now almost legally drink. Just one more week.
I can't believe he introduced himself as a second generation drunkard.

Three cups open the grand door to bliss;
Take a jugful, the universe is yours.
Such is the rapture of the wine,
That the undrunk shall never inherit.

And people thought we were terrible parents because our diapered toddlers would bring us beers. Damn. I mean, Grumpy didn't teach the little ones how to mix a perfect martini until they were six.
