Hahaha great to hear from you, old friend.

My number has changed but now isn't a good time...we just sold our house and haven't closed on the new house yet so for now we are living in a cabin on a river and no cell service etc. I'll catch up with you in a few weeks when we get settled into the new place. Glad to see you're still around, sir!

Booze, minor drama, booze.

Welcome back BKB! Glad I'm not the only Pennsyltuckian here again.

Oh by the way do you still bartend out Pittsburgh way? The daughter is going to college out there and we'll be visiting once in a while. Be nice to have a friendly watering hole to roost in.

too long gone

Post by sloweducation »

I was gone for a long time (probably 2-3 years) and had very few posts but you people are funny as shit and make me feel more at home than my Grandma's on Christmas. I am starting my PhD this month and will be turning into a drunken academic in the next few years. Here's to the only friends I can ignore for years and will always welcome me back...the next drink is on me!

Cheers! Gonna go pick up a sixer of newcastle and a pack of smokes. On you, right? I'll tell the gas station to charge it to you.

Welcome back, just dipping my toes back into the booze ocean myself after a long absence (not abstinence though I must add)

I'll take a cold peroni on your tab and drink it to your health!

Welcome back and good luck with your Doctorate. I'll have an Islay scotch and a smoked porter set up boiler maker style.
