I dig Strongbow, Crispin, and two local ones Wyndam and Jack's.

In Washington State, we have probably a hundred ciders to choose from, the consequence of growinge so many apples. Many are excellent, some really bad. They are just coming into style, though, when I moved back to Washington about 8 years ago, you could find some imported cider, but not consistently, so I made my own. It is nice to be able to go out, pick your own apples, have them pressed locally and then experiment with the yeast used I fermentation. With the laziness of ages and all the choices, I just now buy them. Both the Apple and Pear coders from Spire are great.

Take a jugful, the universe is yours.
Such is the rapture of the wine,
That the undrunk shall never inherit.

Apples are the greatest thing that Jesus ever invented, so how can one not like cider?

I make my own cider, haven't for a while now because I've been too busy. England has a huge amount of cider, some good, some ghastly. Northern Ireland, where I'm froom is going through a real boom in small cider producers

To me cider always tasted kind of funky.

I will admit that my experiment of dumping sugar and yeast into a no preservative apple juice fucked me up for cheap.

I add a few teabags to the mix, makes it taste drier. And I don't add sugar. Store bought apple juice comes out about 6% naturally, so I wouldn't add sugar unless making some sort of apple wine
