how much are you guys and gals paying for rent?! I'm in Chandler AZ and the average is like 1150 fucking federal reserve notes a month. That's insane! I'm paying 1050 a month and I've been living here 12 years like an idiot because the home prices are too much unless you wanna move like 30 minutes away and wear down your car. When I moved in it was 680 a month! What the fuck! It's not like I have a Rosie Jetsons maid now or anything! My water heater just blew up and flooded my bedroom.

I dunno man I just can't believe these prices it's like right before the 2008 crash but worse. The rent is too damn high!!

Sorry about the vent I just wanna know what everyone is paying here I don't wanna turn this into Zero Hedge or anything.

No worries. In my locale of a metro area you're looking at around $1000 entry level for a single bedroom rental. And yes, it is utter robbery.

Moving out to the country, where there's nothing to do that you don't do yourself, a person could find a decent 2-3 bedroom rental for about a third of the price. That's when you need a good diesel truck that isn't broken in until it hits 200,000 miles. And a copper still. And lots and lots of guns for defending yourself from squirrels and other dangerous creatures.

Or, you could buy some brand new intermodal cargo containers for $1200 a pop and fabricate them into a pimpin ass shed mansion with a cantilevered drinking deck.

And they say german rents are exploding. The euro costs you 1,25 dollars right now. That would make a 1000 buck flat be 800 euros.
I rent you a 1000 square feet 4 rooms, plus kichten/2 bathrooms apartment for that money here in my town. In better towns, that price will double, but still...damn
