Replaced the light socket in the bathroom. This building was built back in 1925, so the fixture is damb near a century old. It was not a standard light socket. It had a spring snap that is inserted into a rectangle in the fixture instead of screwing in like light sockets today. I was able to find a replacement at the local hardware store, searching online was fruitless. I almost gave up and called the landlord, I'm glad I didn't. As a renter, I do not want to be the squeaky wheel. I want to be known as the tenant who never calls. As a reward for a job well done, I'm going to drink this sour-ass boxed wine.

One of the lights went out in my refrigerator. I have to pull the cover and screw out the burnt out bulb and read what the specs are to buy a new one. Had a bunch of spare light bulbs stowed away in the hall closet at one time and now I don't know where they are because they are no longer there. Yeah, I guess my intoxication is showing.

So I went out for beer and liquor. I got a couple of 1.75's of Polish vodka and a 1.75 of Kraken. Then I scored two cases of OV but I lost my shit when I had to sign for the beer. I mean I had to SIGN for beer but NOT liquor? Funk that. I left my nitrile gloves on the floor. Let them pick that shit up.
