I had to go to check on a flat a romanian women left after living there for only half a year.
She dissapeared to gipsymania and stopped paying rent.
Her cousin allegedly cleaned the flat.

It`s littered with garbage. Lamps and bathroom mirrors were stolen. It looks like junkies lived there.
There is a bathrobe in the toilet.
There was entrance to the attic. More garbage up there.
If I really tried hard I`d come up with maybe half that trash over the span of six months. Yikes

Fun times, drink helps

So you lost a pack of smokes, a lighter and a game of darts in your own house in a single day? That's what happened?

12 hours and nine minutes until the orange cancer is excised. Ooh Rah!
Grumpy has to work--I told him to take it off and watch it with me, but he says he can't.

Yep, the neighborhood was totally deteriorating. We sold it at less than we could have got from living as hidden squatters in our home, always on edge, waiting for sudden seller drop-ins. The Russian who bought the house...Poor bastard. I think he is probably taking a bath. Much of our old street has been bought up by him. We did well by he deal. Poor Vlad bought a bit of a pig in a poke.

Today was fairly boring. Work was slow and I snuck out an hour early. Now I'm drinking beer and listening to classical music and everything is much nicer now. Cheers.

Bagpipes and nasty little dogs

Post by Savage »

Day and night, the little dogs next door yelp and scream. Not your normal dog barks, oh no. More like whimper whine eeeeee high scream. Kind of like if you took Paris Hilton's tiny poodle and shoved a hairbrush up its ass and then quickly yanked it out.

Well, you have to admit, you'd make that sound too.

Anyway, I love bagpipe music. When I was a little girl, when I heard it on the television, I was entranced. Perhaps twenty years passed, and I found a bagpipe cd in a bin and bought it, listened to it, loved it, but found one thing that puzzled me. How, after all that effort to get the darn thing going, and play your song, how was it that when the music ended, it came to a dead stop. Bam! Sudden silence. I mean, shouldn't there have been a bit of a wind-down?

Perhaps somebody shot the piper. I mean, there are people out there who loathe bagpipe music, though I am sure I would not like to know them.

So, anyway, back to the farking dogs. They were in full scream, and I just could not take it anymore. So I put on some lovely jazz; Billy Taylor. But I could not enjoy the music, because of the dogs. The sad thing is, they are left outside day and night and so of course they cry. I bet if I brought them inside our house and fed them and put on some music they would just relax and calm down and never cry or scream. Goes without saying that they would sleep inside at night, on soft cushions.

So, I still needed to work. I put on one of my most favorite bagpipe albums, and settled down. All was well. I got a lot of work done. When the record ended, the dogs were quiet and at peace. (I peeked over the fence--I had to know.) They may have sung along with the record, but I don't know. I wonder how the azzhole neighbors liked the concert? I wish I had real evidence to report them to the SPCA.

I love bagpipe music. I hate my neighbors.

Oops, let's make this Modern Drunkard relevannt. I had a Tiki cocktail* while TRYING to listen to Martin Denny, and then I switched to Bourbon Perrier. With a nice chicken salad, because you gotta eat. Even if you are at the age that you only grow sideways.
