Re: Your day in a nutshell. Share please.
Where to start. I was kept up ALL Friday night because some fucknut that lives two houses up got his ass shot dead at 1:30 am. The ensuing commotion prevented any chance of sleep, so yesterday I was the walking dead. I understand this guy just got out of prison the day before for shooting somebody else in the leg in 2015, so I think the suspect should be clear.
Then I had a long conference with my Parents today where I had to listen to my 83 yr old Dad berate me for drinking too much. He explained that it would be cruel if I died before he did because kids aren't supposed to predecease their parents. I didn't ask how he knew my drinking habits but he was drunk during this exchange, so I figure I have a good chance of out living him. Of course, I had the common sense not to point this out to him.
WTF? Can't people just keep their shit to themselves?

Be grateful for the little things: like how alcohol doesn't have a tolerance-buildup like LSD, so you can keep drinking day after day. BE GRATEFUL!
Don't worry. We're in no hurry.

Started off with a hearty breakfast of French toast and sausage with maple syrup and a mug of Thirsty Dog Old Leghumper, a little house cleaning, a little bit of digging out records I haven't played since the dawn of time. So far so good!

Who doesn't have spare cancer? Cancer is everywhere. You can practically reach up and pull it out of the sky these days. Now spare AIDS, that is hard to come by. People will pay a premium for it.

I was too drunk to mention that Dear Booze has spare cancer. He can explain. I think I attempted to post this in the Dear Booze thread and obviously failed miserably. Wow. Zzzzz
Okole maluna!

Hungover like hell. Had to pick up my parents at the airport. Getting there was easy, aside from being stuck in traffic for 40 minutes, but the place was so confusing. No signs pointing to arrivals. Only check ins... I hate airports with a passion. Everything went well though and and I`m getting drunk now
