At my last job, I spent almost 10 hours straight one day just sanding down brass fittings to specification. That sucked.

You are in SoCal right? I feel the same way. It was a nasty heat spell and very dry.scream ale wrote: ↑Wed Jun 10, 2020 2:39 pmGot a taste of summer today and I did not like it one bit. And now the moment I've been waiting all day for - cold beer.

Man what a drunkenly relaxing day.
or relaxingly drunken?
Whatever it's 1 AM, I'm pleasantly blissebriated, it's like 56* F outside tonight, I think I'll take my drink for a walk. Probably smoke a doobie on the way.
Cheers fellow drunkards.

Oh no, I'm in upstate NY. We had a stretch hot muggy days more common in July/August. It was extra shitty for early June. However it has cooled considerably. Tis patio sipping weather.Lush City wrote: ↑Sat Jun 13, 2020 11:07 pmYou are in SoCal right? I feel the same way. Today flew by. The whole weekend feels too short. I demand a restart.

Enjoying some beautiful skies right now with some whiskey.
Being locked up for a few days really opens your eyes to how vivid and rich reality is.
And I have the next two days off. Ship it.

As some of you witnessed via Skype, My buddy Khan showed up at my house on Saturdat night baring the gift of a Sazarac kit. It was a bottle of pre-mixed booze with Absinthe and lemon peel and the side. We drank those until we could no longer function.
On Sunday Mrs Booze and I met up with a group of friends for lunch and a day of drinking in a bar. I cannot explain how good it felt to have drinks in a bar. with the exception of wierd distancing protocol where about half of the barstools have been removed, it was normal and glorious. We kept at it for several hours. Oh, as a side note, We had decided to ride bicycles to the pub because we knew we would be too drunk to drive. On the way home, Mrs Booze proved she was too drunk to ride a bike when she crashed into a fence.
When I got home, another buddy showed up with a bottle of Captain Morgan's Reserve. We sat on the patio and drank for a couple more hours.
Fantastic weekend!

Pregamed work with vodka. Drove to a new liquor store which has even more Balcones selections than any of the others I've seen. I shall try them all soon.
Worked a short shift. Picked up a large pizza from Papa Murphy's -- delicious. Now, diving into another bottle of Knappogue 12, an Irish.
Good times.
