I watched the action as landscapers landscaped and masons began rebuilding my 2 chimneys. I'm now drinking to forget how much this is all costing me but the place is looking gorgeous.

Today I learned...

Writing an article while drinking gets inspiration's juices flowing, but finishing it while nursing a hungover gets results

Children still do "duck-n-cover" drills during tornado warnings in Maryland

One day my children will be as smart as/smarter than me and it'll make me siiiiiick... (My daughter may already be there.)

Woke up, drank a Monster to shake off the lethargy and mini-hangover. Picked up some fine KD, which I am drinking now. I live for these days off.

Drank the afternoon away down at the local beach pub. There is a local rummy that lives across the street and uses the pub as his living room. He's a retired professional roadie. A few drinks and you will hear stories about the stars and their productions but most of all about their wrap parties. It made my day. Lots of yuks.

It's like when I realized children still play "the floor is lava" lol. How timeless is that? And where did we even learn it?! It's like ingrained in our DNA.

In my opinion, if you drink hard enough, you should be rewarded with an extra day off to get drunk.

The true champions will emerge as the class that never has to work.

Where is this coming from? Well: tomorrow, stay away from me. Gulps.

Today wasn't nearly as fun as yesterday. At least there's booze and cats and leftovers at the end of the day.

Today was almost perfect, the only things that stung like a thorn were: The puppy being an ass at five something in the morning, the puppy being an ass at eight something... and stupid tenants calling with stupid complaints
The rest was nice, sun not to hot, getting drunk early, watching recorded sports from last night hanging out on the balcony stuff like that

woke up with a horrible hangover this morning which is rare for me...one of those ones where your head is splitting apart. had 2 codeine tablets and a beer and went back to bed. woke up in the afternoon feeling great. since then I've fired the smoker up and drank ice cold cans of stella all day. been pretty fuckin great. the champions league final tonight as well so got a few buddies coming round. gonna switch to highballs pretty soon..probably rum and cokes.

I FUCKING LOVE WEEKENDS.

This is an excellent resource to have access to. Me? I'm stuck with ibuprofen for hangover headaches.

Spent the sunny hours in the pub drinking steadily with friends. Then went to see Martha Reeves & the Vandellas, who were great. Then drank more. Woke up this morning, watched a documentary on the Beat Farmers. Now...pub? Pub.

Sunny hours. It's been warm here in Bangor (not the Wales one)
I mowed the garden but kept away from some wild lavender that might be indigenous...?

It was quite warm outside. Perhaps approaching 88 MPH (Metrical temPoral Humidity) which would lead me back in time.

Beware of Dave's syndrome. It can happen.
