Back in my days on cruise ships, I could rarely get cider, and when I could it was at a ridiculous price, so I often indulged in Zima (and I feel no shame in the fact!).
That being said, there were a lot of things I drank in my youth, that just don't taste the same these days (I am looking at you Lemon Hooch!), so I would be tempted to retry it, but without much hope.
To help alleviate any doubts about my drinkhood, I would strongly recommend that if you do touch this stuff, you slip a large measure of vodka into the bottle after taking your first mouthful, to provide it a much needed additional kick. It makes at least as good a mixer as coke for vodka.
