We took a day trip to explore and went to a Turkish place for lunch because we happened to be parked at a meter right next to it. It was meh. We also went to this weird location where we were technically in the corners of three countries at the same time- Belgium, Germany, and the Netherlands. It was basically a weird mini-amusement(?) park filled with families from the Netherlands, dragging their towhead children around in the rain to play on slimy, muddy, playgrounds, eating French fries with mayonnaise from the beer gardens. We would have had some pints but oett's dad was the driver that day and we didn't want to bore him by watching us and our friend who came along drink beer half the time. It was a memorial day nonetheless.
