mainly to oetinger as he's only guy that drinks with me here, but other comments are welcome.

My best friend employed me. He said 2 days ago, he will pay me part payment of £160 pounds yesterday.

He overslept, couldn't prepare what i need to start the work.

Another day passes, now it's entering a limbo.

I would like the money before Christmas but I dont want to appear like a douche asking for it.

The work likely starts tomorrow or day after.

What should I do?

kind of true, but yeah wouldn't have said i was completely undrunk.

ok i deleted that and typed this:

"good to know at some point today! no pressure, but yeah it's good to know here you stand, i thought we was starting yesterday, thanks man!"

i think it's a bit more reasonable

I would go with either "where's my fucking money?" or the classic "you pay now, bitch". He's loafing around with your cider money and laughing at you, and you're just going to let it stand?
