Then, you will throw in a little credibility (ethos); not only should facts be provable, they must also come from a reliable source. Then emotion (pathos); include making everyone who has ever blacked-out or who has made some highly questionable decisions while shit-faced feel guilty; play the moral and value judgment cards.

All of these elements of propaganda have been successfully employed by truly successful people to get what they want. Would you like to discuss ethnic cleansing?
