That feeling you've been wrapped in Bacchus's embrace. Like beint in the warm embryonic fluid of sweet Mother Booze. 0as much as I love the revelry of a crowd, and I do love that. There is something quietly rapturous about boozing alone.

Drinking alone, with an ample supply: being drunk and knowing there are plenty bottles more -- all cheap, because drinking alone is cheap, relatively. Giddy abundance and grounding solitude, with a little (a lot) of liquid euphoria. And the many bemusements the Internet offers a solo drunk, MDM not being the least, posts old and new. Indeed, indeed. Cheers.
Don't worry. We're in no hurry.

I feel like a dirty vagrant in despair on a battlefield of weeping damaged souls.

I like both, alone and festival style crowds.
I also "acclimate" very quickly and treat a friends couch like home in 30 seconds.
Sodomize the bathroom like it`s mine? No problem. But always with respect.

I suggest you start drinking. Heavily.

being home alone on a Friday morn...slipping easily into the warm embrace of dear ethyl.. slow glow.. small and insignificant.. growing brighter as will my demeanor...in my man cave.. doing man shit...chainsaws and living dangerously... bliss.....
then the wife comes home to find me passed out in the yard.. melted in to the dew, sweat, smiokle and a roaring bonfire. Glasses of wine with her to cap off the night.

Actually stolen from Iron Maiden, the Trooper.

Iron Maiden are one of the originators of doom poetry. After Black Sabbath of course.
