Kanar always looked kind of thick and syrupy. One of those Cardassian fellows (or was it Kardashian) got pissed and threw his drink at the mirror. Looked as thick as a loogie it did. Though having tried Malört, I'd be glad to give kanar a spin.

Sounds like kraken. Black, syrupy, with an acquired taste.

Found a Sazerac recipe. It's a bit blasphemous to the Sazerac history.
