The sons are getting Knob Creek Single Barrel Store Select. the Daughters in law are getting rums, George Bowman Colonial Era Dark Caribbean, and vodkas, not sure which type. My bro is getting something I can't name cause the pecker head is on here.

Bought a bottle of Bulleit last night for visiting about my Rez. At one point, I was standing in a garage below freezing, warmed by conversation with a tropical breeze, Santa Claus who else loves in northern Penn, and a side with a thick German accent. They must have moved here since I been gone.

Dotta's stealing me soon and we'll hit some pubs and buy each other rounds.

Merry Xmas to all and sundry.

Funny, from different corners of the world we are all here ringing in another year, not knowing each other in person, none the wiser but all touching our own little pieces of eternity as we drink and think our way through a night that knows nothing of Christmas let alone our own names, let alone the strange motives that lead us to the inexplicable want to forget our own and join something bigger, timeless and (from a distance) happy. And each time we reassess and resolve, there's always the tacit acceptance that we will do something funny, off kilter, never fully committing to the plan but hearts always in the right place knowing that there is always tomorrow to turn it around if we want to. It's the clarity that comes with being a drunkard.

I salute you all.
