Donor Laptop Needed

Ok chaps. We have a member who is too proud to ask for help. So I'll do it for him.

Short story is the little lady didn't ken to his drinking ways. He ended up on the outs. He needs a laptop to be able to reconnect with the Drunkard world.

Something simple. Nothing fancy. Eathernet and Wifi should be all he needs.

Please help.

p.s. She's probably the reason he's not been on in a few years.

A $200 ASUS would do the trick. It's what I've used since I destroyed my Macbook with whiskey, for more than a year now.

I'll chip in a bit, if you set up some kind of fund.

Also check around the net for computers refurbished by non-profit organizations running as little as $100. If it comes down to it, I'd pitch in some dollar toward the cause. El riesgo siempre vive.

I've got a zillion year old Toshiba, shipping would probably cost more than it's worth.

It was a $140 pawn shop deal, three years ago. Slower than glaciers.

I banged out most of the second half of the novel on it, so it has some sentimental value, but passing it on right now just feels kinda right.
