A new liquor store just opened a half block away from my apartment. I often wondered how other humans could be so joyous that they would weep. Such an emotional outburst has evaded me for all my life, until today. Until now.

My previous abode was two blocks from a dive bar and two blocks from a store that has an entire cooler devoted to malt liquor. When the mood struck, and it struck often, there was always a cold 40 oz. nearby, or a bottle of Evan Williams and a can of lemonade concentrate from their freezer. Bacchus be praised!

Hey, I think I know that place. I don't know the name of it but is it on Washington, with a little all night walk-up taco shop in the same parking lot?

If it's the same place, I was at a nearby cigar shop that had wine. I asked if they had anything besides wine and the owner(?) said "No but you can go to the liquor store around the corner and bring back whatever you want." I went and bought some rum and ordered a bunch of tacos to share with the people at the cigar place.

Yes, DB, that is the place. It's name is Del Mission Liquor. The taco shop is no longer 24 hour, but I don't know what their new hours are.
