the closest i ever came to a tiki bar was a couple of halloweens ago when we did the luau theme. I made a skeleton mermaid and a bunch of flaming skull tiki torches. last year, everyone was all, "we liked your luau better than this year's Halloween. Well, KMA. whatever. Do they even have the tiniest little bit of a clue how hard it was to track down and purchase those effing Halloween rubber duckies for the mermaid's pool? and did y'all know that there is a halloween luau soundtrack on cd? and that some lady makes hawaiian shirts with skulls on them, which G and I wore, as cruise directors of the frekking H. luau>?

Update. Because I know you've been waiting for it. Grumpy sez we're doing a skelly poker game, with skelly beyotches holding up handmirrors for the skellyguys to spy on each other. Oh, that wiley Grumpy. And the coolest thing is, we can buy most of the props at a dollar store. I'm just wracking my brain for the music. Rat pack with screams and moans, perhaps?
