Back around 2012 we packed him in a shipping crate full of peanuts and bourbon and shot him into space.

Now that I rethink about it, I beleive it was a hot air balloon and ten gallons of margaritas and beef jerky.
Either way I don't recall him ever landing back on earth. Kinda forgot about it really.

No Nanowrimo this year, I'm afraid. I'm busy trying to get all the garbage from past Nanos coherent enough to actually call a 'book'.
And the booze does lubricate the old keyboard, IF I use it sparingly. If I set sail to the island whilst banging away, things get repetitive, and I also repeat myself a lot. Like, over and over.

No Nanowrimo this year, I'm afraid. I'm busy trying to get all the garbage from past Nanos coherent enough to actually call a 'book'.

Yup. Like playing pool. Three drinks in and my joints are all properly lubed up; I'm doing side pockets and shit.

As another mere hobby writer, it took two full drafts, but the thing is damn near ready to be called horrible on its merits instead of horrible because of its sloppy composition.
