Praise Canada

Post by Palinka (RIP) » Tue Jul 09, 2013 4:11 am

9th July 1793. The legislative assembly of Upper Canada passed the Act Against Slavery. This stated that no new slaves could be brought into Upper Canada, and that children subsequently born to slaves would be freed when they reached the age of 25, further that any slaves making their way to Upper Canada from any other country, would be recognised as free "upon setting foot upon the free soil of (Upper) Canada."

Way to go, Canada! This vodka's for you!

One day I'll go to the Yukon and live in a cabin. Just for a bit.

Wait, Canada's geese will block out the sun or Our Geese will block out the sun?

What the hell are those two up to now? Some diabolical cross Canadian umbrella scheme? they had to be drunk and in or near Philly when this plot was hatched. steved and Girlie may be involved.

This needs to be looked into.

I'm calling Canada.

I've been to Toronto. I was pretty cool. We went to the top of the space needle thing. They had a gift shop that had a myriad of syrups in different containers. It was amazing.
