Looks like Wisconsin is next with legislation to be signed into law by the end of the year. The focus thus far seems to be on generating tax revenues and promoting small business (trickle down stonernomics). Way to go Sconnie!
Would you care for a bongload of Purple Urkel with your beer and deep fried cheese curds? Yes, yes I would.
Time to go long on futures of cheap pizza and fried food manufacturers in the dairy state. Can't wait to find out that product will be the "official" bong of the Green Bay Packers.
It will be a while for most of Cali. They aren't prepped for the increase in demand. There may be a shortage like Nevada had early this year. The production and delivery/distribution systems for rec pot is not there as it is for medical.
Found myself in the Matrix and took the red pill. Now I want the blue pill and my bottle and leave me alone.
Cali has begun the recreational distribution of kick ass weed but at a price. The whole legal pot package comes with higher excise taxes that have even affected medical marijuana sales. This is the new pot legislation that went into effect new year's day. This will drive disabled medical marijuana users back onto the streets because they can't afford the tax increase. Leave it to Democrats to tax medicine and food if you give the chance. Right now pot in Cali is taxed more than booze! Right now there are only 90 purely recreational marijuana vendors state wide. An 1/8oz for top drawer rec pot will cost you $65 in L.A.
Even though it is a cash transaction only, they demand a photoscan of your driver's license into some mobile device which they claim goes nowhere. Yeah, right and I'm a monkey's uncle! They are now tracking the sales. This will drive people back underground because they aren't going to pay the taxes or have their privacy invaded. Yeah, Democrats really know how to treat the goose that lays the golden eggs.

Certainly it's easy to politicize anything and blame some group or other. For instance, Democrats want taxes to help the poor, and Republicans want less government involvement except for the police force and DEA.
But that is simply complaining about the cost for a little bag of weed. Most folks know a bootlegger or two, don't they? Smart ones are in it for the long haul and keep their local, paying customers happy and secure.
If all else fails, find out where the nearest reservation is and get to know some cool people. American Spirits, now with kinnikinnick...
