Re: I had to call 911 for Liz tonight
I'm trying to think Liz and Mayhem are having a great time catching up right now.

Re: I had to call 911 for Liz tonight
All I can say is I'm beyond sad coming back to this place for the sole purpose of paying respects to friends who died way, way too soon.
I came to the conclusion a few years ago that I had to cut back, big time, because I wanted to see my kids grow up and become adults. And I have, for the most part, done that. But it tears me up every time I hear that one of the people from this board, someone I knew and had drinks with, has passed off from this world into the next.
Liz, I won't raise a drink to you. I'll just remember you fondly, and wish that you could have, as somebody said, valued yourself as much as others did. I hope you finally found peace.

This is Lemmy. I haven't been on in years but the old timers will remember me. I was very close with Liz, as was I with Mayhem. The 3 of us were the core of the "Rochester Drunkard Crew". I can't believe I have lost both of them so soon after one another. Just in s hock now.

Re: I had to call 911 for Liz tonight
Fuckin' hell, I learned about this on FB... She was a great lady and she'll be fucking missed. Really and truly missed. I loved seeing her little flares of activity where she'd post a dozen song links to youtube with madcap commentary in between... I ignored or blocked most people who do that but not Liz. Never her. I found it lovely when she did it. Shit.
But still we soldier on. Through all of our losses and all of our regrets and all of our battling those slings and arrows which assault us daily... and so many stepped up to try and shield her from that. I hope that she found freedom from pain despite the tragedy her passing visits upon us.
Fuck.
FUCK!
I...

Be safe everyone.

Fuck. Just found out on FB. Only met her once, but chatted with her occasionally. She was a sweet soul who will be missed. Dammit.

Lemmy, you were a great friend to both and you showed me and Lady Red the best of hospitality in Rochacha when we visited. I wish we had more time to spend with you. The Rochester contingent is falling off. If I ever find myself in your area I hope you'll find yourself available for a hoist or four.UnkleLemmy wrote:This is Lemmy. Re: "Bella'' has passed away...
And back at you Liz dammit!
Spent a half a year worrying about you and now this.
Peace love. Be at peace where no one could give it to you here.
