Ya know, I'd buy popcorn and sneak my flask in to see that movie.
Yes, with Johnny Hartman doing the vocals. Can't go wrong!

I'm gonna have to check out John Patrick Shanley's films. All three of them.

Yes, even this one, which my own Lady would like to see again.

But she is my favorite pub crawl buddy. Be good to your buddies.

Conan the drunk
Fire and winds come from the sky,
but alcohol is your god
the titans once fooled Crome into pre-mixed beer
In their rage the gods must have drunk on the battlefields...

Pali had recommended The World's End earlier. Saw it a couple weeks ago on Netflix. What a hoot! That's definitely on the drunkard's movie list.

I thought it was ok. Made me wanna do a proper, organised pub crawl like I haven't done in years. I thought his first movie, Shaun of the Dead was much better though. An absolute classic. The remake of Dawn of the Dead is also great. It's the only movie I've watched with the director's commentary turned on. Usually i only ever hear this if i push the wrong button n they say shit like "i filmed this with a wide angle lense to give the impression of blah blah". This movie has the director n one of of the producers n they sound like a couple of frat boys. Its the first movie either of them ever made x the director used to do car commercials x n they're saying stuff like "oh this stunt women is a total rock star, she nailed that in one take", "that spurt of blood there means his artery has been severed n shes a nurse so she knows he's dead", "there's a great head shot coming up here... BAM! Down he goes". Its hugely entertaining, like watching the flick with a couple of guys who wont shut up but you don't care cause they're funny.
